My engineer chum says red5 stuff is great value, and his first set of drum mics were from them. He upgraded them after 18 months mainly because he thought the kick mic was a wee bit lacking, but they "did the job" and the overheads are good.

All the mics arrived today at 3pm and I'm dead chuffed- all working correctly and sounding decent. Here's a brief yet DULL AS FUCK demo of the RV6
