I'm after a particular single coil sound, Gold lacesensors, for that vintage tone 
and I've gone off Seymour Duncan pickups quite rapidly really, there's something about the sound of them that seems to be trying too hard for me, they force you to a certain sound.
I'm going to try a mustang pickguard, so if it doesn't fit, it'll be up on the classifieds here :p
