Are all the starcaster pedals on sale for $8? I thought it would be fun to buy all of them for cheap pedal board.
I already have a Small Clone Chorus but it would be cool. One of my daughters could use it one day.

tempted to order a bunch of them and then sell them on CL...
But I won't. I may order a couple though. I don't really need one as Ends already sent me a free chorus pedal and I have the behringer one. I like having 2 though and I want to drop the behringer one due to it popping cables in and out.

probably not worth it. If you wanted to sell them quickly you would have to do at least $20 shipped. So you make $10 on each pedal minus shipping and ebay fees. So you clear $5 each. You would have to buy 20 of them to make it worth it.
Looking at it that way, it would be a 50% return if you could get an average of $20 shipped out of them. All you do is order them, receive them, and then just stick a new postage sticker on them and throw them in the mailbox... About maybe 5 minutes work each.. $5. Hell, about an hours work could nail you $100.

Plus product costs money to keep in stock. My store "spends" around 15k a month just on displays, open items and clearance items being on the shelves.
that's some sweet info

Aside from the fact that it's an amazing value for what you're getting... no. I find it to be be on par with the small clone in terms of quality, but a bit more dynamic thanks to the high/low adjustments. And yes, it uses the boss style 9V adapter.plaidbeer wrote:It's weird because a while back, you couldn't have them shipped to you or buy them in stores.
Tempted to pick one up to try it out, but I replaced the CC300 with an Ibanez CS-9 and have been happy with it. Is there anything unique/weird about this chorus?

It may replace your small clone. It takes up less room I think, and having A/B'ed them, I actually preferred the fender pedal and returned the small clone (ended up getting a volume pedal instead).taylornutt wrote:I just ordered one. With shipping it's exactly $10. I already have a Small Clone, but for that cheap it will be fun to play with.

Best Buy just set up in the UK and are spreading out but I don't think they are doing music gear here yet. Wasn't Proggy going for a job there?Dave wrote:Why Best Buy, Why won't you ship to the UK? Did a brief google and no real UK outlets turned up!
Booooooo

Good point - i bet they wouldn't be that cheap even factoring in shipping costs. I'm tempted to buy one and send it to my american ex then tell her to send it to me BECAUSE SHE BROKE MY HEART and owes me that much at least. Actually shes done favours like that before.
Ends is it worth the hassle or am I better off getting another cheapy? Don't know anything about what choruses are good or not but for a few bones I'd like one to play with. Plus I REALLY like the look of the pedal.

The pedal is pure class, looks great on the board and sounds awesome. I'll grab one for you and ship it over if you like. I think it's worth the hassle at this cost considering what you're getting for it.Dave wrote:Good point - i bet they wouldn't be that cheap even factoring in shipping costs. I bought one anyway and used the remainder of a gift card, so it will cost a whopping $6. Probably the best $6 chorus in the history of ever.endsjustifymeans wrote:Aside from the fact that it's an amazing value for what you're getting... no.
