£950 is a tough price because if it's exactly what you want in terms of colour, condition and trem/no trem then it's not so bad. It'd need the original case and pickguard, though. But for a touch more, or on a good day for the same price, you can get a custom colour (most common being LPB and then CAR).

If you would just like to get a coronado and aren't too fussy about the details either hold out for another deal or try to negotiate the price a little.

Also if it's not got a trem it will most likely have the F tailpiece and the F should be a piece of white plastic. Quite often though those go missing and you're left with a blank space there. It's not a big deal but it's something I didn't know about until after I got mine and I've noticed some others since.

Example of that here:

Its just as much as an investment as it is a guitar to play for me. So I wasnt exactly set on the colour combination. Id prefer a LPB combo, or a CAR combo but thats only gonna be more expensive.

I offered 850, and he wasnt interested. Offered 900, not sure if I will hear back. I had agreed 900 with someone for a LPB combo coronado I the other day, but then someone came in and offered 1k the same day, and I didnt wanna get into a bidding war.

A LPB combo coronado II would make my life. Esp for less than £1k.

Ah. I think all of the custom colour ones have a matching headstock.

The LPB Coronado I that just sold on ebay for £1k surprised me a lot. I thought it had no chance at that price.

Check out the thread full of photos. There's some discussion in there about some of the differences. I think it's just called 'Fender Coronado pics'.
