these are the biggest solid bodies I have ever touched.... Besides a Dean ML.... both are like 8ft long
I think you can still get an Epi Firebird for like $400 too.... if he is not trying to spend a ton of scrilla....

It's about the exact same size as the Pacifica and looks like somebody went at it with a powertool to make it look like the future had arrived, and it's full of neon.

casino is fully hollow.
So is the Viking I think. At least the vintage ones are, probably not the current ones.

Sersiously, the guy wants the biggest solid-body possible. I nipped it in the bud with the Firebird. Someone lock this thread.

What about this... a Schecter Ultracure. Didn't someone on here just get one of these?

Yeah but the guitar has to be cool at the same time. I also doubt it will be as big as a Firebird.
Not to sound like a dick, but Rich and his enormous friend seem quite hipstery and indie (I don't mean that negatively) so all these metal guitars are probably not worth mentioning.

Firebird for the win. Those Cure guitars are abominable.

That's a Firebird VII. I can't really vouch for them or the Epiphone version. The straight up Gibsons with tune-o-matic and 2 mini humbuckers are great, just comically too big for me.

haha. how do you gather that? we're metal as fuuuuuuck.
that schecter is so fucking ugly that i almost love it. i can't imagine walking into a venue and seeing somebody play that thing. but, it's just what this thread called for... a big electric guitar.

You like Trumans Water and Fender Mustangs, live in a hipster den and your friend wears tight plaid shirts.

I own both the Porl and the Ultracure . The Ultracure might look ugly in pics but it's really nice in person . Plays like a dream . Despite heavy it's very balanced . The Porl is a ES335 shape so you can imagine the size of the Ultracure . In reality the Ultra is a lil wider . And it's bigger than a Firebird . I'll prolly have a Thunderbird Studio in month or 2 so I can post picks then if you wanna debate . But honestly it would e pointless .
One thing I can confirm though the Ultracure looks like an amoeba hung like Ron Jeremy the build quality is of US quality . Even used ( and by the old strings looked a little abused ) and a small tweak in the setup and the thing still is a dream to play . Duncan 59 humbuckers that coil tap, solid mahogany , and nice neck. But of the 2 the Corsair is just amazing . I actually thought it played and sounded better than a ES335 . The neck is ebony and just amazing . At 24 3/4 scale it's versatile . Hate to say it but it's more fun to play than my Stang ....

i highly doubt this claim. it looks ugly in pictures, but it's really nice looking, or really nice to play? i bet money it's still godawful hideous in person.

that ugly ass black guitar you have is probably bigger than a firebird, sure, but so is a fucking thunderbird. which is a bass, btw.
you're confusing shit, man.

I dunno, it makes sense. For example, I found the pictures of the Squire Jaguar Bass looked utterly gash, but I saw one in person two weeks ago and thought it looked alright. Terrible in pictures, nice in person.
