that pickguard is one crazy tort.
(but I like it)
You need to think on the guitars color, or some interesting tint on lacquer.
like the progress !

this is what I would enjoy on a jaguar.. a wood with lacquer, and a bright red/blue/green pickguard, would
look bad ass.

for now im gunna just leave it natural cause its finished with tru oil, but i do plan on doing a color this spring when things warm up. i dont think it would be a good idea to paint it with all the cold and snow around. im also planning on going to se tech college in red wing mn next fall for guitar building and repair so i might also wait until i have guitar finishing classes to do it then

the separate brown shell control plate actually looks really cool. maybe you could do the upper control plate the same way.

Really cool.
The quailty of the Warmoth body & neck good? It looks it, but that may just be your finishing
been thinking of maybe ordering a neck or body off them if ebay doesn't bring up anything.

now for pictures!!!
it plays super nice, still figuring out the bridge a little. i had to put some gunk in the screw threads and file out the low C saddle, but i'm loving the AVRI pickups.
