After more listening: drums are great, and you do the 'slightly scary/manic singer'-thing very well, in that you do sound a bit unhinged. I mean that as a compliment. Also, the recording of the vocals is particularly good - very dynamic sounding. Really, really good.

Wasn't "Word Virus" played at the Shortscale gig? I'm on my third listen of it. Good stuff Stewart. Fucking loving the guitar tones.

Yeah, we played all of these at shortscaleapalooza.

Thanks for the kind words folks, it really means a lot, and i hope you're not just all being nice for the sake of it. These recordings (and most of the rest of the album) have existed in a bubble for over a year and after months of picking them to pieces over and over again it starts to drive you up the wall a bit.

ok folks, anyone who wants to shell out for a physical copy can do so now through our bandcamp page. if you buy one you get an immediate download, and we'll post the discs out on the 11th march. just to reiterate, the CDs are very fancy, handmade felt covers wrapped in wax-sealed ribbon with a fold-out insert scribbled on by one or more of the band. we've put a lot of work into them, and think that £6 is an extremely good price to sell them for. there are only 200 being made, and once they're gone they're gone. we may do another run at some point later in the year, but the packaging will be much simpler.

if you want a download only it'll be available on the 11th at a price reduced to suit. or if you don't want to buy one, you can listen to it on the bandcamp page and tell us what you think.

once we get the t-shirts from the printer (next week i hope) we'll most likely do a shirt-and-CD bundle for £10. there are two t-shirt designs, one by me and one by kim, which is fucking amazing. or if we're playing in a town near you on tour next month you could pick one up then.

we've managed to do all this stuff from start to finish with no financial or organisational assistance from anyone, it's a completely DIY endeavour, and as such we could do with as much word of mouth about the album as possible. if you like it, tell your friends about it, share a few tracks, whatever. any help is good help!

shite, i knew i shouldn't have mentioned the bloody t-shirts...

ok, if you've bought the album i'll do a special shortscale discount, howsabout that? i'll send out a t-shirt with the CD for an extra £4 + whatever the postage comes to (taking into account what you've already paid for the album- so probably an extra quid or something) that you can chuck in the band paypal later.

that means you can preorder the album, get your download now, and the package will turn up in a couple of weeks.

might be worth looking into a bigcartel or something stewart, especially for all these packages?

or can you add another album / price+stuff on bandcamp?
