I didn't want to buy that particular one, but I think I'd like to get a Mustang when I can save up enough dough. It was very comfortable to play and I'd like to have at least one other guitar besides my JM.

Reasonably priced, you would need to specify
Reissue or not
competition mustang or not
65-66 actual vintage
70's mustang
and what color? This matters dakota red vintages go for less than blue and white.

I'm pretty sure he's inquiring about late 70s mustangs. often enough you can find them for around $500.

there are some heavy late 70s fenders but not all of them. my '78 mustang weighs about 7 pounds. just about perfect weight I think.

I should have clarified that I don't know much about Mustangs although I've learned a little after reading today that there are several different periods for them. I'm not interested in the heavier Mustangs, which would take the late-70s Mustangs out of consideration.

Since I don't know enough to appreciate vintage guitars yet, I guess I was asking about the lower-priced Mustangs, which I'm guessing would be the more recent reissues.

A reissued used 500-700 somewhere around there unless its heavily modified then 350-550, something like that would be reasonable.
