Is it an urban myth the the Mondays held Factory to ransom by delivering an album with out any vocals, only releasing the vocals when Wilson coughed up a load more drug money????

It's in the film '24 Hour Party People' but I think Tony Wilson embellished on the truth a bit for that film, but it could be true.

Is that Paul Ryder? it looks like a more recent pic and he's not in the band anymore.

There was no date on it, but ya know what, it does look more recent... the recent stuff I found generally had Telecasters, Strats, and Epiphone hollowbodies and the P-Bass for what its worth.
So maybe just those last 2 pics are valid for "old" Happy Mondays gear, cheers.

it's a myth the mondays never touched drugs...

I used to be good mates with The Mondays keyboard player, PD...
He no longer has any of his original gear, but his old keyboard is on display in the entance to the Hard Rock Cafe in Manchester Printworks...
