ah ok then. still don't think it's exactly a rip-off though. my point is that the paint job is not as bad as people are making it out to be. it looks like it's just on top of the original finish. if you are decent with sanding and polishing you could get it back to original finish easily enough.jim93 wrote:No. The refinish would run 300. $1700 for a 64 mustang is not a deal and is a ripoff. I would consider a 25 % price increase from an all original dakota red mustang for an ugly refinish a rip off but to each his own.
