nice. 4 string is much easier to deal with to a mandolinist/picking guitarist.
I had a 5 string for 6 years and got nowhere with it, swapped it for a fiddle 2 weeks ago and I've gotten further with the fiddle than I ever did with the 5string.

I ordered the banjo, and I just got an email that the book I bought from amazon, Banjo for dummies, shipped today. The Banjo should be going out on monday so hopefully I'll have everything by the weekend!

I think a banjitar (6 string banjo) which is tuned just like a guitar is a fun thing to play - - - gets the banjo vibe while having the same tuning as a guitar.

I know a little about them. They are the Devil's Dicks. If you like to play with the Devil's Dick, then you will like Banjos and Mandolins.
