isn't the tone reaper a tone bender mk3? It does sound sweet in the demos I've listened to. I prefer the sound of the Hoof though but having them both in a dual pedal would be nice

I think so, although EQD claim it can reproduce sounds from all Tonebenders. I've been playing mine with the fuzz level all the way down and the sound reminds me of old Sonic Youth records, which is probably why I like it.

BUMPDATE: less than a week after ordering, my Hoof has arrived; not had a chance to play with it yet, but, as with all EQD gear, it looks lovely, and the blemish is tiny (little seriph-shaped scratch in the decal - didn't even notice it at first as it looks nice and is in-keeping with the decal). Most importantly for my UK bredren: no Customs charge - Jamie is a prince among men and knows how to ship stuff. Still a few pedals available in the sale (including Hoofs, the choice of men), so hit him up.

Is it a decal on the Hoof? Just from seeing them online they look screenprinted to me.

Yep, you're right, just couldn't think of the word because my brain's melting from hanging this show (which consists, significantly, of screen prints).

Would love to see some gutshots if you fancy taking one, Tim?
