Well cool. I'm really into minimalist designs like Esquires at the moment. The Strat hard tail works on this, there i said- thought i never would. 8)

would be cool with something like a toronado or duo-sonic bridge!

hell if I know. It was one of the pickups that was in the Dot. I didn't have anything screwed down in those photos and only had one screw in the pickup, so one side is just hanging. My goal tonight is to rip the fake WHRBs I have in the dot and mount it up. Tuners and pots are in the mail, so this things should be finished and ready for assembly next week.

thanks for all the kind words, all. I've finally gotten to a point where I can assemble parts guitars, paint them, set them up, and wire them without too much fuss. It's taken about 4 or them before this one, but I'm pleased with the results. As with anything, lots of room to get better and I understand what I need to do differently next time, which I think, is a good sign that my limited skills working on guitar is getting better!

I know you do not like me for some unknown reason, but think you should seriously consider one of these for your guitar, Wlikinson GTB warpa around, $19 on ebay.

Wraparounds are my fave bridge. There would be considerable height difference compared to a Strat hardtail though, would mean some neck shimming.

Same, I adore the bridge on my JJ Electra. So much more comfortable than a tune-o-matic.

Ahhhhh, so that's where you want to put it!

PM me your address and I'll send it out by the end of the week; waiting sucks. :)

I thinks this is his statement of intent, his master plan, his modus operandi, spelled out for all to see. Let there be no doubts regarding this man's aim: he has come to stink the place out.

Strat bridge looks ace, especially if you're going with a fender plus vibe.

thanks. I think with the pickup of a fender red dually, it's going to be a telemaster plus, for sure. Still undecided if I should pickup up another lace for the neck.

I'm debating the same thing. I've got a red dually and a red single I thought about using to create the hottest output passive guitar ever, but now I'm second guessing myself on using three reds in one build

I'd do it but I'm really trying to justify if it's worth picking up a pickup that I'll probably never use anyways. I mean, why spend another $60 on a pickup that I'll use 3 times.

Do you just not use neck pickups in general?

If you do go with only the dually at the bridge, make sure you wire that shit up to the selector for some single/series/parallel shit!
