Surprised to see the thread shift, yet I could add more recent info for the curious...Even more if I wasn't on a bus down in Miryang right now. 
It's been a fanastic guitar to play, and as much as the Willows Guitar staff put me off the last time I dropped by to request a proper guard order, I have to admit the thing is a tank with a wide palate of tones, though I really should get the filtertron route dug a tad deeper to reduce the thump a bit. The hot Kent Armstrong bridge with the stang saddles admittedly lacks the brighter twang sondz, but still cuts through with a meaty edge and can keep up with my bandmates Historic '59 pretty well, me covering rhythm lines while he wails solos and chunks out juicy power chords half the time.
Both Cindi and I have also really warmed up to the baseball bat neck, really comfy playing all day for us simpletons. The sustain and overall resonance along with the super tight neck joint (with neutrinos probably being the only things that will pass through) are also faves, and have been noted by quite a few players we've lent the guitar to. In the single coil guitar dept, it's only second to the Jazzmaster in our collection for bringing on teh rawk.
We had a TV gig taped at my alma mater last month(how cool is that?) and I even got a few positive comments afterwards about the guitar while there.
