why bucket list?....u can pick up the re-issues for $1000-1200 all day..head only that is..... I do not know ur situation in life but from the guitars u acquire it that seems do able

No,an original Marshall 1959 "Plexi" is on my "bucket list. But that is just a dream. A plexi is too loud for my current living space. This Gibson GA-18t is a better size amp for my bedroom.

Casino is one of my favorite guitars..of those I have played. (I just loved the Gretschchshes too)
I would really like to try an ES335 or a good Epiphone Dot.
I have huge hands, so not much of a shortscaler, but I really enjoy the community here !
(Hope to be a proud owner of an Jaguar someday)

I don't own it anymore. It is at my friends store. I saw it yesterday.
I got one of the Royal Tan Casinos (on order) for $619 at Guitar Center.
It's got some cool features:
"Classic Vintage Styling and Unique Features
Introduced in 1961, the original Casino had unique features that ultimately were never offered beyond that first year. These include the pre-Gibson era triangle metal logo badge on the headstock, dot fingerboard inlays, a blank two-ply bullet trussrod cover, a tortoise-colored pickguard with foil "E", and black dog-ear P-90 pickups. The Edge had one on his "Royal Tan" Casino.
Too bad the trem version of the '61 reisue only comes in "Vintage Sunburst"

It looks like it would need a roller bridge if you had any intentions of wangin' on that thing, especially if you were the type of person who like your guitar to stay in tune.
WTR, posting pics of the edge with this guitar only slightly deters me from wanting one.

Oops,sorry. Well,some other people played casinos too.
"This is a very early, first year Casino. Note the original single layer tortoise shell pickguard. This guitar also sports a metal "badge" Epiphone peghead logo. All later 1961 and beyond Casinos used a white multi-layer pickguard and a pearl "Epiphone" peghead logo. Only a few month of Casino production used this pickguard and metal peghead badge. This sunburst (or is it Royal Tan?) finish is extremely faded"
