Nice work - sounds like it's coming together then? Looks like I'm the only Shortscaler without Bronco knobs on my Musicmaster......might have to do something about that, they do look good!

I could have sworn I bought a shit ton of 250k pots for guitars a while back. Sadly, I could not find them the last few days.
TURNS OUT MY EMPLOYEE PUT THEM AWAY SOMEWHERE! FFS, dude, thats not how it works!
Anyway, swapped the pots out today, and it's sounding GOOOD. Might have to do a final truss rod/saddle adjustment before it's a real weapon, but it's working!
Probably grab some pics soon of the finished product.
OOOH! EDIT!
Anybody know if you can retro fit the more "mustang-y" pickguard/control plate on here? The stock one looks funny to me. I wish I could swap out my kid's gold guard from the CV duosonic, but (among other things) the bridge would never fit with it.
Fuck me a gold guard would rule.

To gt the cotrol plate on there means taking off a wee bit of wood on the inside to fiit the pots in. the knob placement is a little different.
