Looks like there about £85 quid via andertons and gear4music.
I think it'd appeal to the amp dirt people and non master volume crowd. Hmmm but how to sneak one past Kay

well it sounds like it creates realistic feedback. what more do you want them to show?

Realistic in the two passing examples. I want them to show more and I'd like to see a more indepth section from a video demonstrating a Feedbacker/Booster but dedicates 95% of running time to the booster element.

yeah it's a bit lame but I imagine it has something to do with the marketing dept. and company big wigs editing it down to the most friendly inoffensive demo they possibly can.

I'm surprised that with the proliferation of new BBD chips and cheap analog delay pedals out there Boss hasn't re-issued the DM-2. Even if it's just to capitalize on the reputation of the older ones.

The Vox pedal interests me a bit. Reminds me of the Fender sponsored pedals boss did.
Has anyone used the Boss Fender pedals and are they any good? I have always been on the fence about trying to use a pedal to simulate a famous amp tone.

Maybe they should swap the names around like they did on the original! Vintage marketing mojo.
I think it has more to do with the feedbacker being a one-trick pony, or extra bell/whistle on an otherwise newish booster, like they're sticking with the times while slightly nodding towards the cult-rep DF-2 (acknowledging more people run a booster into a tube amp these days vs the DF-2 era's pedal-distortion renaissance). I think just the straight booster would've come out too expensive because it's Boss, but now that the feedbacker is on there I'd pay at least... $80?
I'm sure I'd only use it the way he does in the demo, to an extent. I wouldn't be expecting much more, plus people are already saying it may outdo the original based on that clip anyway.

the feedbacker on the DF-2 was completely useless. it's just a DS-1 with an extra level of gashness. this thing at least looks like it might have applications.

I wish we'd see a reissue of the ce2, one of the nicest chorus pedals I've heard. Might burgle Fran's one day.

Think I'll pull the plug and get the fb-2, sounds like it's a single coils best friend in the vids.

They're not
that pricey or hard to find really. Edit: The MiT ones that is.
How does the ce2 compare to the ce3? Been thinking of getting one for Christmas.

Yeah you can score a green label CE-2 for under £50.
I never liked the CE-3, when i had one all i could get were Geordie (Killing Joke) sounds on it which is'nt necessarily a bad thing but i think modulation is best when it is subtle.

Picked up my CE-2 (black label, MIJ) through Guitar Center's used gear site for around $80 (well, $90 if you include the 2-year warranty I bought with it). Ebay and Craigslist haven't had them for less than $100, so gave up on that route before finding this CE-2. I've heard from people who have used both the MIT and MIJ that there's really no difference?

At one stage I had two ce3's. Both suffered from a lot of background noise and didn't seem to have much control over the sound.the ce2 tends to be more blendable and subtle as Fran said.

CE3's are more metallic sounding, the CE2's are alot warmer sounding. I've played 3 CE3's and they all suffered from that metallic sound. I didn't like it, but its better than the CH-1 I used to have.
