Too tight?
I tightened down the back screws, so they touch the body of the strat.
And the bridge still is up, so I should unscrew the middle screws on the upper side of the tremolo ?
The two should stay screwd in,yes?

Strat trems can be a MAJOR pain in the azz, until you try to setup a Floyd /facepalm/ then it seems all too simple.

No dude, we're talking about the 6 screws that go into the top of the body, like under the strings. Loosen those up a bit and it should sit flush with the body. There's a bevel under those top screws, they're never supposed to be like screwed in all the way down.

The back screws, you just can tighten or loosen them depending on how much tension you want in your trem arm.

I always put 3 springs in Strats. The bridge should float a teeny bit, like enough to put a credit card under the end and no more. Ant Mex Strat has needed 4 springs straight away. Or just buy a set of decent springs, the stock ones are shitty. Not enough tension on em.
