I had lace sensors in my jaguar and i didnt like them. They have a very compressed sound, and are also surprisingly noisy for a "low noise" pickup. The fender SCN's in my strat were even quieter than my LP!

To answer the issue of colors.
westtexasred wrote:How many different colors did the Strat Plus came in?

I think those are (L-R)
Back row: Graffiti Yellow, Surf Green, Shell Pink
Front row: Blue Pearl Dust, Lipstick Red, Black Pearl Dust
They also came in these colors and probably another five or so - (info mostly taken from Xhefri's site)
- Vintage Blonde
- Gun Metal Blue
- Firestorm Red (as posted in this thread)
- Vintage White
- Midnight Wine
- Taos Turquoise
- Sonic Blue
- 3 Color Sunburst
- Black
- Blue Transparent (with blue burst edges)
- Natural
It's hard to be accurate about it because they're pretty similar to the Jeff Beck strat and another MIA strat they were making at the time. If you can read the numbers on this or find another image of the same where it's easier to read I can tell you what they match up to

Obviously not a strat plus but it's interesting because it's quite rare (certainly the red equivalent is). It's a James Burton tele in '010 - Black with Gold Paisley' and the same guitar also came in seemingly very rare '011 - Black with Red Paisley'. They still make a James Burton tele but it now comes with the paisley in a flame design in blue and red.

The black Tele with the blue flames is the new James Burton model I was talking about. The flames have a paisley pattern in them.
