Same thing as the Maurader but with different pickguard, headstock shape and electronic config.
I'm pretty sure the Marauder was made out of wood. The body on this is a fine blend of sawdust and rockhard glue.
It's a Sonex Custom, which was the 'best' of the Sonex's unless you count the one with a set neck and built in electronics, those seem fairly rare though.
The accoutrements that lift it above your average sonex? A three piece maple neck with ebony fretboard and some nasty ass Dirty Finger pickups with coiltap toggly.

While I did NOT know that, I meant purely design-wise. They would yield a similar guitar no matter what the body was made of (with the possible exception of poo).

I would say all my guitars are "rat" guitars as all are modified or made up from bits from ebay & forums such as this.
I had to recently "retire" (until I can fix it) my lovely Desert Yellow RG550 as it has the dreaded neck fractures.
So main thing to pluck around on is another so called RG550 but I don't really think it is, it's just another 20+year old bashed and bruised parts guitar which my young son & daughter have now started to add stickers too, including Peppa Pig, Spiderman and Transformers (animated)
I added the skate stickers and the one from Sean
