Ive managed to figure out a crappy, amateur way using my audio probe, to get it working fine and as it was only ever gonna be used at home i'll definately be keeping it.
Im taking it round to An experienced friends house this week to see if he'll help me out with the switch. If thats not the issue i think im just gonna keep it "as-is" with my hack bodge job
