Quoi? I thought you'd bought a fancy nancy Warmoth conversion neck?
In my experience a purpose built baritone always feels better than a converted-to baritone.

really interesting if it actually is a tele heel on a neck with a strat headstock.
the only other fender with that is the 2000 john mayer one I think
which is probably over priced and certainly over douched.
i've never seen a john mayer strat with a tele heel. pics?

Reposted for boyhood-fantasy's sake. Would play so hard, strings will break off the nut and poke my left eyeball.

Not a fan of that. A strat with an amputation.
Reminds me of when cheap guitar companies try to change the body styles slightly but they never looks as good as the original.

I used to really dislike the Tele headstock as well, but i think they have their own charm now.

Same for me.
It's weird, they work on Tele's but not really anything else. However if the tele has humbuckers/WRs it seems the strat headstock is best i.e. 70s deluxe.
For me the tele headstock works on the standard tele and nothing much else. It's very specific but in my head its just the way it is.

And me, used to think it looked like a withered hand compared to all the other Fenders. Like it now though.

FINE THEN.
Not realised it was a strat you'd done it to.
In other, hardly-vaguely-related-at-all news: I really want a strat lately.

Same actually. I've been really hankering after a 70's reissue strat and I've just seen this

Just need to find some stuff to sell first

Nice fucking neck.
I saw one of those $100 baby blue bullets at the store, and went fucking nuts for it. Sold my jazzmaster body and bought it, made this little buddy on the left
