I heard that these are supposed to sound similar to jazzmaster pickups



seems like it would be a good choice for someone into the cure/post-punk/darkwave kind of stuff. clicken ze image for link.

My favorite pickup. It would sound unique in an indie setting with some fuzz. The bass is somewhat glassy yet distorted and never gets muddy.

After asking you guys one of my mates suggested doing a Roger Giffin alike with some 12 pole Kent Armstrong pickups (like the ones he made for Pete Townsend in the 80’s) with the black pickup not being as noticeable on my Tele's guard.
