Ah, ok :oops: :oops: :oops: ....i thought it´s a kinda bass boost.....is it on when the switch is up or down? I prefer the sound when the switch is up....

Passive electronics can't ad anything as such.
Like your tone control filters out treble, the switch filters out bass.
It's less adjustable though.
I don't own a Jaguar, but I think the up position engages the filter (cutting the bass).
I've got an old Epiphone with the same thing, it's always described as a 'bass boost' in internetland (which is a lie).
I find it has it's uses though.

Yeah, and i meant that prefer the down position....thanks anyway...
