I don't know if anyone feels like doing any work towards this but here are a few things I was planning on doing soon. All of these should be doable with the power of the internets though I don't really have anything on them yet. Feel free to pick a section and get stuck in.

---------
Wildwood
Coronado II WILDWOOD The same as the Coronado II but with 6 colors of dyed Beechwood front, back and sides. The colors were indicated by roman numerals and were really a guide only as every one looks totally different - 'I' - Green, 'II' - Gold and Brown, 'III' - Gold and Purple, 'IV' - Dark Blue, 'V' - Purple Blue and 'VI' - Blue Green.
Fender had been injecting dyes into growing beech trees, in order to create interesting grain effects for the Wildwood acoustic guitar. When harvested the wood was primarily green, blue or brown - giving rise to three actual finshes - Wildwood I (Rainbow Green), Wildwood II (Rainbow Blue), and Wildwood III (Rainbow Gold). The very nature of the process meant that each Wildwood guitar was unique; "the color follows the grain and becomes a rainbow of colors and patterns. This causes each instrument to differ from the next"
---------
19 - Mystic Black (on the 1996 and 1997 Frontline charts but not the 1992)
75 - Mystic White (on the 1992 chart but not the 96 and 97 Frontline charts)

---------
Firemist Gold
Firemist Silver

Should be quite easy but I haven't got around to it yet.

---------
50 - Gold Foil Leaf (on the 1996 and 1997 Frontline charts)

I have an image of a Will Ray signature Telecaster labelled as this but I think it's not a Fender.

do you have this color? "Dusty Rose" The color code was 519 in the 1988 catalog. I think this color was reserved for for Strat Plus guitars circa 1987-1988. It is often mistaken for "Shell Pink".

Dusty Rose in on the list of stuff to add eventually, it's from around the same time as Bahama Green and is pretty much unheard of now. But those pics are better than any I've seen for it before so I'll definitely use those. I only know of Dusty Rose through a color list on one website that mentioned a few others I hadn't heard of.

I'm fairly certain the Chrome one is just Pewter. Pewter was knocking about for a while before it become more common with the Clapton Strat. I'd be very surprised if that was something else.

Do you have the 1988 catalog? Scans of old color charts would be fantastic if you were able to.

Is that any different to regular CAR? They also did Surf Pearl as an FSR color but I think that's the same as regular Surf Pearl.

I did an update recently with Silverburst, Sunfire Orange Flake and Root Beer Flake, but I didn't get around to making the links for the 'see also' section on each page so didn't upload the new version yet. I've just upload it as is. The links on the left and the images all work, it's just the links on each page aren't the right ones.

All the pages in the middle section (from '281 - Antigua' to '899 - Lucerne Aqua Firemist') are new except for

887 - Red Paisley Flames
888 - Blue Paisley Flames

Once I finish off those pages with the links to the 'see also' colors and a bit of info on the code variations I'll start on the stuff like dusty rose.

I also added new images for '93 - purple metallic' and '49 - sea foam green'

For that one, I couldn't find any larger images than what you found. Just one each for strat and tele.

I don't have that one. I think there are a lot of Squier colors I don't have. The stagemasters and showmasters have two or three for sure (galatic purple?).

Updated the Silverburst image and added the gold foil leaf ones.

Does somebody want to collect some info on the FSR guitars? I'd like to do a page that had a list of all the colors with an image of each and a bit of info about the concept in general. Is it something to do with guitar centre?

Mentioning that reminds me, I still need to do Copperburst.

Actually I was wanting to have general info pages on a few things where it wouldn't fit neatly on a page of a specific color because the info is relevant to a group of them. I haven't thought too much into it but what I had thought so far was

Competition - A bit about the vintage ones, modern fender japan and the toronado GT style. That what that recent thread asking what colors the stripes and that are was about.
International Colors - Not really sure what it needs but they are a group worth mentioning
FSR - As mentioned in the previous post

Maybe also vintage custom colors but there's a lot on the internet about that sort of thing already. I'd like it if a couple of other people got involved and helped with this sort of thing. There isn't really any special knowledge required, it's just internet research.

Finally found some images for Black Sparkle. Fender used it for a signature model in 1996/7 but messed up the electronics so without being rewired it sounded like shit. They quickly withdrew it so it's now quite rare, apparently only 500 exist. That coupled with the fact anything a bit metallic and black can be called 'black sparkle' is why it's taken so long to find it. Although it's a signature strat with gold hardware, I have to admit I like it a lot.

MIJ Crimson Burst Strat = http://www.diyguitarist.com/Guitars/MIJ-Strat.htm
Might get some better pics off the owner for your page. Don' tthink that mandolin thing image you ahve does it justice.

Also is it just me, but I have to click "Color" in the top horizontal menu before the side vertical menu becomes active?
