One of the comments in Taylornutt's original link read: "What? No Placebo?"

Quite right.

Two Jaguars, one band's MBV homage?

I love ringo deathstarr.

Recorded with a jaguar, if I'm not mistaken. I know Ty Segall has used a jaguar for the past few years, with an occasional appearance from a mustang, hagstrom, dano, or SG.

Yeah, I'd say she's small.

Might be why she floats with a "Mustang" lately.

I agree with Benecol. This is not a very worthwhile digression. We have plenty of large people on this forum playing tiny guitars. An adult can generally play any sized guitar if he or she has the desire to play that particular guitar. It's simply a matter of getting used to the instrument.

I've seen MBV twice (second row both times) and Bilinda seems to be of average dimension for a Caucasian female. Or if you prefer, within the average range. She is not a smurf.

And some of them have expressed how small said guitars look on their large frames.

Point being: Who gives a shit :P Yeah, the guitar looks big, dude made a passing remark to that effect... who cares.

Second point being: MORE JAGS!

It wasn't a passing comment, it was good old fashioned guitar forum sexism: "You sure you can handle that big old guitar, little lady?".

Anyhow, seems wrong to mention Ethan Miller without having some Comets on Fire.

If that's what you read into my post, then I can see why you responded that way but it's not my intention at all. One of my all time favorites is Tanya Donnelly and she's a tiny lady who used to play Les Pauls a lot and it looks HUGE on her and I do find that funny looking. Am I not allowed to find large and heavy guitars on small people funny? It has that David Byrne in a large suit look. I'm tiny myself and I look and feel weighed down holding a Jagmaster or a Jaguar for more than an hour.

Anyway, I'm sorry to have caused this diversion. But I'm about as far as you can get from the usual guitarist stereotype, believe me. I am indifferent to most male musicians and might be largely attracted to short scale instruments because I saw my favorite musicians, many of them women, playing them.

Nearly forgot about Dinosaur's "Out There" ... excellent track!!

Always joked that this was the quintessential Uma Thurman song.
