Another for yallow.

humbucker is fine if that's the sound you're looking for. I have no prob with a bucker strat aesthetically.

What is up with those saddles on the pink one? Looks like floyd blocks or something.

This may sound silly but I've never really thought about it before....I don't hate on humbuckers in strats, but looking at the two guitars I think the biggest reason it looks weird is because a humbucker is narrower than a single coil, but on a mustang the single coil is slanted so they're about just as wide on the guitar and it doesn't look so weird.

mustang bridge pickups sound weak. although some people like them that way, most people would get more use out of something with a somewhat fuller sound. so it is extremely common to put a humbucker in there. which really does just make it a much more versatile guitar.

a strat bridge pickup is fine though. there's nothing about the bridge pickup that needs to be fixed except maybe adding one of the tone controls to it to roll off some brightness.

Yellow, but something something has to change with the white pickguard.

I think Fender called that pink color "Dusty Rose" The color code was 519 in the 1988 catalog. I think it originally looked like this:

Or it could be "Razz Berry" but I think it is closer to the "Dusty Rose"

I prefer bridge single coil in strat, and hot rail in mustang.

I would love a pink hardtail strat with a single hot rail in teh bridge, tho.

I nesrly always fit buckers in my Strats, or at least Hot Rails. Perhaps in Strats it reminds people of teh Metalz?

I bought the pink one. It was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than Old Yeller. It's a Vintage Modified(lol) "Strat Plus" from around '87(?).
