haet string grille.
It's a love or hate thing...I get a lot of compliments on the amp when I play out with it, including some people that think the string is cool. I'm not crazy about it personally, but then again I don't buy amps based on how the grill cloth matches my scarf.
It is different, and is probably the biggest reason I first noticed it in a store full of amps.
