I did just notice that I got a refund today, so not a scam. They told me when I cancelled the refund could take a week or two, but did end up processing it same day (so I just edited my previous post). Guess the delay could have been from the vendor (Fender), but I just couldn't believe them anymore becuse they told me from the start that it would be shipping in a few days, and then after a month they basically told me they had no idea. Really wanted that thing too.

they're legit. just really freaking slow.

Ended up having cancellers remorse & called these guys back & they restated my order. Very happy I did so. Brand new guitar arrived today, no problems. My apologies to the store for my griping & complaining.

It's the best guitar I have ever played. Can't believe I didn't have a Jazzmaster before. There might be better jazzmasters than this one, but after 3 hours there's no question that I will henceforth like Jazzmasters better than any other guitars. I hate myself for not buying one earlier.
