I am going to have to go with my 2 Mustangs. The Compstang has the looks, lightweight and the Red Lace sensor brings the rock tones. The Mullet-stang has the vintage NOS pickups, refinished nitro 1969 Mustang neck (my favorite neck) and has those classic vintage tones. Between them, I get all the sounds I need for live work and they both stay in tune. We will see what happens when I finish my Jazzmaster :)

The trick with this thread is that you post one guitar.

It's really hard to say since I play the Mustang at rehearsal at the moment and the Jaguar at home and for pedals and stuff, so I really am truly torn.

But if I had to save one:

Mainly the Squier JM Jazzmaster at the moment. The neck is more satisfying to play than my Teles, and the whole thing is surprisingly light.

I love them all, but if I had to choose... the Les Paul

I'd probably go with my Tele. I love my 335 but I feel like I have to work with that a little more, be a little more delicate; whereas with the Tele I can pretty much plug in and play anything and it sounds great. When I'm at home I plug into my Holier Grail and into the blues jnr and it pretty much sounds like heaven.

I haven't played much guitar lately because my 'go to' is my bass. For guitar it's probably my coronado, but otherwise this week I 'ave been mostly frustrating myself with trying to learn fretless.

My go-to is always my sunburst JM, I just love it. The other JM just doesn't feel as nice, although it does now have a different neck and pickups.

Always my Mustang. Dinged to hell, got a Tony Iommi neck humbucker in it from his signature SG. Growls like fuck. also got sweet ass cat sticker on the back.

'69RI Tele Thinline. Want to replace white pearloid pickguard with a black one and do something about the slight shrillness of the bridge pickup (thought about swapping it out with a Filtertron), but neither are huge issues.

Ooooh! You guys are rocking some interesting looking geets!

I'm more of an electric player and I'm especially fond of looping things, but I've been playing my Little Martin more than my tele. That's mostly due to living arrangements and my three gay roommates either sleeping during the day (night shift) or blasting pop music. It's fine though.
