It's likely to be strings, I'd say. Bear in mind that if the trem is floating, and a string stretches, then that string will take up less tension, meaning that the other strings are taking more, and are going to be higher pitched (the springs on the back are going to pull as hard regardless of what the tuning has done, that tension still needs to be met by the strings). So a heavy string stretching could knock the lighter strings up a step or two.

If it's not that, it's likely to be an issue at the nut. Do you know if you went up a string size when you put new strings on? If the current strings are heavier, the nut could be pinching them. You can widen the nut slots by using the cut off ends from when you put the new strings on. Loosen the strings so that you can get at the slots and use the old strings like a file in the slots.

I put .10s on it, which felt about the same, if not smaller than what was on it before. I THINK the nut is ok.
It has been better in the last couple days, but still not where I want it. In time, I'll figure it out with some playing

I gigged with it last night, using it with my gear for the first time. Gotta say, through my Twin Reverb, it sounded pretty solid, I liked it. Again, with the tuning thing, I had to tune between songs, which I don't have to do with my Jaguar or Telecaster, but it wasn't out too bad... mind you, I was concerned about tuning so we changed the order of the songs in the set so that the one where I do leads and bends came after the one that's all bar chords to minimize the effect. That said, I transported the guitar without a case and hung it on a stand when I got home; when I picked it up this morning and went to tune, it was pretty much perfectly in pitch, so who knows.

I decided to use the stereo feature of my bass chorus pedal to run the guitar to both my Twin and my friend's RocPro, and it was pretty fun; I quite liked the sound... not that I'd ever consider lugging two amps to a show to do it live I also tested it out using the RocPro distortion channel along side the Twin clean, to great effect; nicely defined.

I took a look into how to record videos on my MBP, so I might do an demo of it before too long. Just excuse my shyte playing.

I'm still blown away at having found it. It's so awesome... we'll see if it manages to edge out my Jag as my player in the long term; it sure has been this week!

EDIT - weird, their email domain rejected my email inquiring about shipping and the tension screw... Hope they don't make me incur long distance charges and make me talk on the phone!

from this demo I can tell two things,

1) You got a fucking DEAL with that thing, seriously, go onto ebay, search "guitar" and put you're maximum price range at $100 and see what you get.

2) I would totally go for a pint with Ankhanu, he seems like a dude.

Oh, I know I did!
Stuff in pawn shops here is usually highly overpriced... and usually garbage. Last guitar I saw I wanted was a 60s Gibson Melody Maker, but it was over $1000, back in about 1998. They simply didn't know that G&L was a quality brand, I think, and had it priced like their Typhoons, Auditions, and other ultra-economy guitars. Ignorance is wonderful
