That song by warpaint makes me feel strange. The girl with the nose looks like an average Newfie. I feel like I see her around all the time, but it's just her doppelgangers.

There's Char, who's allegedly responsible for the cult following that Mustangs enjoy in Japan. Not sure how true that anecdote is, but it's a cool tune and I'm pretty sure he's playing one in this version (he uses Strats these days too from what I've seen of other vids).

It certainly showcases the 'bouncy' trem action. Plus he has a cool hat.

Heres a recent example. This is my band's pewwwp song, definitely one of the lighter things we've done in a while. Excuse the cheesiness too. Everything pretty much in the right earphone is a stock 65 RI Mustang in the bridge :

Their recordings don't really do them justice. They're a great Bloomington based band.

Whats left of a 70s mustang.

my god that is awful, could it be any more contrived..... I half expected to see a 'sponsered by Topshop' baner

thanks! it's my project with my wife.
it's been 15 years i play in contrived bands with fancy clothes. i really heard that kind of critics during my whole musician life; i don't care; i'm not upset.

A-ha-ha. Fucking boom - good on you Johnny Noir, nice retort. I'm not sure what a polka-dot shirt, a satin dress, and artful use of spotlights has done to bring out the lumpen "Campaign for Real Rock" in Johno poster, but I for one salute the cut of your jib. And your reverb - amp or pedal?

(You're still a n00b for thinking basswood is a dense wood, though).

my wife said that she would like to be sponsored by topshop, better than her 3€ H&M satin dress.

I enjoyed that track, Johnny N. I did wonder what your wife was doing, a bad attempt at shadow-puppetry? Then I realised she was playing a Theremin

I think you have a good sound going there Johnny Noir, liking the tremolo use with zero tuning issues. Sounds like you get the most from the guitar, unlike players like me that locked the trem off and installed Hot Rails
