I go quite straight, maybe a dip of about 1.5mm around the 8th fret.
With first and last fret depressed?

I've got one of these shimming the Hagstrom, right now. I had to snap off the points with some pliers to get it to fit flush in the pocket but it worked out really well.

Nice one Fran,
I've shimmed many guitar myself now.... and it's by far one of the best improvements out there.
A shim along with minimal relief, can turn a stinker of a guitar into a really good one.
