I will let Dan confirm it as this is his one, but I think it will be a week one so next week sometime I suppose. but maybe two weeks would allow people a bit more breathing room.

A week would probably be too short for me as we're moving on Wednesday, but no worries either way, I'll do these whenever I can.

Good luck with the move how exciting!

It depends on how many people say they are going to do it I guess if it's just me then a month wait for more people to get involved would be better.

Next Sunday - 15th?
It can always be extended a bit it people want to contribute but haven't done so by then.

Just to confirm, it's any photo/any format in response to the line "What you see depends on where you stand".

Nice one, should we have another thread or just keep everything in one?

Also perhaps if we have a description of how we got the image brief description of setup etc? or should we just wait till people ask?

I'm letting this run on to the end of the week... for myself as well as anyone else hah. I have quite a few ideas and hope to go out this afternoon and get the shot.

Anyone else going to submit? :)

Apologies for not managing this well but with no submissions besides Hurbs I thought it was best to let it just run on...

I have been thinking about my submission quite a bit. Finally have it done. Well, half of it.

Originally I was thinking very literally about "what you see depends on where you stand". Reflections in objects etc or using your body to create shadows. But I've done quite a few reflection things before and thought the idea was a bit obvious. Then I started thinking about it differently. "Where you stand" could be more about your viewpoint. People may 'see' things differently depending on their views/beliefs. I was toying around with that idea for a few days, waiting for the rain to stop. BUT then I thought it was too boring/heavy a subject. Especially as I was thinking about political views and stuff, eurghhhh. So now I have a similar idea but on a lighter and more fun subject - conspiracy theories! Although I don't believe in them, I do love reading about them and my favourite one has got to be the moon landing theories. So my plan is to take a series of spacey photos, hopefully using the telescope.

So, here is pt.1:

The Set Up

Hurb - Your photo is ace. I definitely see it in a similar way to my second idea. Quite a controversial (maybe not the right word for it, can't thing of anything else) image which some people will interpret differently depending on their views. To some people it probably looks quite innocent where as others may not think so.

You're quite right....about me at least. I just delved into this thread this evening to see I've completely missed the boat again.

One of these days I'll get in on this....one of these days....

Maybe let the photo comps go for a little while. Keep the photography thread going and pushing people towards the shortscale flickr. :)

I'm hoping to go to Anglesey and shoot some stuff soon. I was there fairly recently and took some photos of a lighthouse (may have seen it in the photography thread) but the weather was shit. Whilst driving around though I saw loads of amazing beaches/out crops of land/cliff type places. Coves and stuff. Quite dramatic landscapes that are in easy reaching distance from roads and stuff. Really wanna drive a long the coast and just hop out at random points, getting some snaps. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

Ok, MASSIVELY late with this one, but as there isn't a new theme yet - my photo for "what you see depends on where you stand":
