Would I be possible instead of the toggle to use just the phase to turn the bridge and middle on, all of them on, and just the neck on?

Over my head to be honest mate. If you want a switch for each pickup you should look at a Jaguar control plate.

Hope George doesn't mind me updating
Still got a bit of sanding to do, mainly to blend the roundovers near the neck pocket.
Made some pickguards too.

Oh, and squared off the corners of the trem route to allow the trem to work properly.
I'm building one of these for myself, I picked up a Jagmaster neck for cheap locally, so I'll use that.
Slightly annoying, despite being a so called 'conversion neck', I'm still gonna have to move the bridge slightly.

Few shots sent by Adam the other day...
Now at painting stage. It shall be done in Ford radiant red, a good approximation of fiesta...

Paint has been ordered, but no real paint progress yet.
I'm gonna rework the neck pocket a little before I paint.
Keeping the angle, but lowering the neck into the body slightly.
Also, I drilled the bridge posts to Jazzmaster measurements, but due to the nature of the tunamatic I'm gonna have to remount the bridge on an angle (like a Gibson).
Total T-O-M noob
Sorry George, I'll get it sorted.

Uh, Adam's your man to answer that, but yes I believe he makes his templates out of pressed wood, which I guess is what we Brits know as MDF.
lol

well, it's cool, and I am hopping in the time machine and kicking my teen-selfs butt for wasting all future me's money making stoopid guitars. Really glad that I saw that on here. Your build is looking good

Yeah, it's MDF, I recommend you use a thin board for hand working.
Use that as a template to make a thicker template to use for routing.
I strongly recommend you use a table mounted router too, it's a whole load safer.

I haven't died! (if anyone was worried)
Circumstances have conspired against me slightly with making progress (weather for a start)
Anyway, I've managed to get some primer on, and cut the neck pocket a little deeper to lower the bridge a little.
