Progress is being made. Tinted lacquer on 2 and clear on the other (not pictured).

Thanks! I'll probably just clear coat it, or slightly tint it with amber.

Damn that's hot. Though personally I'd prefer the body to be orange rather than natural.

Pens: the other bass is tinted pretty dark, but I like this one more natural.
Robog: with the strings its a mix of "its the picture" and "I need to cut new slots in the bridge"
hotrod: probably not, with any luck I can sell it before we leave
