not sure its happening though, it was a rumour. given the success of the artist series i would think they will keep it going for some time.
btw, I love the JMJM I got from Boab so i would vote for that

Just been to the dealer. The cyclone is still there, but the love isn't. Maybe if it was fitted with the three avri pickups I'd definitely go for it. So anyway, I'm sticking with the squier, and should be picking it up early next week. If anyone wants to know where this cyclone is, I can't advertise cos I'm still a noob, but I live in Waterford, and there's only one guitar shop.... I'll get the JMJM and then maybe see if the dealer gets in a blue squier jag....

Because it looks awesome.
I am contemplating making a Cyclone II type guitar in the near future.

Cyclone II is one of my dream guitars. Love them.
Weird, I'd say it's probably one of the more sought after guitars on here. It seems everyone wants one.

If you look at a Cyclone II, it was clearly designed from the ground up to make all of us go absolutely ga-ga for it. Little bits of win culled in from here and there.

I hope you're right, I'd love one of these at some point.
I sort of got the impression that these were more likely to be killed put of fear for lower-end fender sales than squier's!

I'm still kicking myself for not doing so back when they were still in production.

me either, I think they're one of the ugliest guitars ever made. And that's said from a guy that plays an Antigua Tele.

Agreed, but would if they didn't have the Strat trem or badly placed switch plate.

Strat trem makes the Cyclone. I understand some are bored of seeing them, but at least they work.
Only thing I don't like on Cyclones is the neck. Given their unusual scale that's always been the deal-breaker for me.

That's the part I like best. Jags are too short, and regular Fender scale feels just okay. The Cyclone's scale is SUPER comfy for me.
