Can't vouch for the teles, mine has cats whiskers in, but the strats at least are reputed to have toneriders in and are excellent - better than any gfs or mim I've heard.

Sure enough I'm with you guys, a sunburst Custom looks like the contender...for a maple Warmoth Baritone Tele neck.

I've also been wanting a guitar to convert to a baritone and keep thinking about the black custom. Are they slab body? I can't remember if the Fender versions are or not.

Good job on making them easy to search for, Squier.

Boo urns. I was hoping for a stomach contour at least, ideally stomach and forearm.

How did i miss this?

Aen is right, even though for the first time in many years Fender are releasing affordable newish designs (thanks to Chinese plant) Squier have got their back. Srsly.

This guy I know says he's going to buy one of these and change out the pickups to something for high gain. I asked him why and he told me
idiot friend wrote:I buy guitars for the bodies, not the electronics
He has enough money to just buy a telecaster body and do whatever the hell he likes to it and I tried explaining why he was an idiot for doing this and why the pickups are the selling point of the Deluxe, but I let it slide.

If I'm lucky, I can possibly get the WRHBs from him for cheap.

Oh, and he plays deathcore, so there's the explanation as to why he would do this.

I know matthewk has one of the telecaster customs. Legit, I'm pretty sure.

yeah the SQ series tele custom had a WRHB. I wouldn't count on them to remember that little detail though.

Yeah, but those were MIJ. They had all those parts about.

They also did '50s/'60s RI squiers back then with Fender-branded hardware and stuff like that, Graham Coxon's first tele was an all-black '52 SQ around the time of blur's second album.
