We play in my drummers garage, using a JamHub and amp sims/pedals, so no I've not played it loud in a room yet, but I'm unconcerned. I had a Classic Player Jaguar which had some slight squeal issues that I found a way to tame.
Not noticed anything at home but obviously I'm not tearing the house down.
Pickups are easily swapped if you have an issue, I have to ask what you expect from a £255 Guitar which is a reproduction of a Vintage instrument.
I don't play DEATH METAL so I'm confident I'll be OK.
I my experience the majority of people whining about squeal issues with Jaguars are standing in front of their amps. If you turn and face the audience you'll be fine.

Not even close to justified - I recently bought Aen/Carl/Pat's 78 Musicmaster and I'm the guy it's going to stay with. My Mustang needs are sorted permanently. Hardtail, neck pickup only? Sold.Mike wrote:What's your current guitar/gear situation?
If I was looking for my first guitar today I can't think of a better time to do it, though.

I'm looking forward to getting it on there (OOH ERR) it's not like the White is bothering me, but it is a little stark.timhulio wrote:How did I miss this guitar? Looks great, especially for the money. I agree on the mint guard. It'll look, er... mint.
Matthew I think you just had an epiphany.
I am jealous of kids starting out with all these options.
The Jag looks great Mike, I can't get over how good Squiers are for the price.
(it'll be poifect with a mint guard on there)

Great demo as usual, Mike. I do my demos in Garageband and I use an old Mbox2 with 2 inputs that interfaces with Garageband. One input for the guitar and another for a microphone.
I went to the Guitar store hoping to find one of these to play, but they have not gotten any of them in yet.
Overall, how do you like this guitar compared to your Classic Player Jaguar? I love the color!!!

Mike did an Kurdtz!
Very nice demo dude, sounded as good as any Fender to me, trem seems to work just fine too.

haha glad my noodlings aren't blocked in China Thom! Nice to hear from you
Cheers guys.
Mint guard arrived today so I put it on, never had a guard go on without sanding so I wasn't surprised I had to do a bit. pickups aren't central to the routes but they are to the bridge so I'll leave them be. Think it looks nice and classy now. Thanks for the push on this guys

Thimbles were a bit proud at this point, have knocked them flush to the body now so action is as before.
