This thread has taught me that people selling the MT-2 on craigslist for cheap are flaky as hell. Maybe I should save my pennies.

I didn't realise the Metal Zone was worth a look, how versatile is it - will it only do metal?

Nah, it's well tameable. I use it for everything from classic rock tonez to 80s thrash. The eq section on there is the real champ, it makes it a very versatile pedal.

My MT-2 could do Nirvana tones a million times better than my DS-1 ever could.
that probably isn't helpful to anyone on here.

Its basically like the Jackhammer you sold me Mark. It covers most bases but its best on the high gain settings.
