My wine red MIM Tele is one of my main gigging guitars.
I love mine too, I have done similar mods, replaced the bridge, and the nut, plus both my Teles have sets of Bill Lawrence pickups in them, the wine red has Keystones, the black one Micro Coils, both of 'em are wired wit 4 way switches
Solid, reliable gigging guitars IMO.
