I know, but I have another Fiesta one that has no blemishes and I have these cans of green metallic paint I haven't got to use.
Hey on the plus side, never would have known it was a one piece body if I hadn't stripped it.

It turns out to be a two piece body. I couldn't see the seam until I finished sanding the sides. The top is blended way too well to tell. At any rate, here is the first coat of z-poxy on the top. Tomorrow morning I will do the back.

Looks like a veneer on the front and back. Perfect for a burst but I'd go for the metallic green as well.
How does the zpoxy work for you? Is it easier to use than sanding sealer? Also, how are you applying it to the body?
Someone recommended using zpoxy for covering wood repairs (seams, plugs, etc..) but I've never used it before.

I'd do a black burst/2 tone/tobacco burst.

Z-Poxy works well. I haven't ever used anything else though. I mix the two parts in a little plastic bowl and rub it on the body. (I put a plastic bag over my hand and just use my finger to spread it around.) I apply it very thin and normally do two coats at least and then lightly sand it to make sure it is smooth before painting. I have used it to fill wood cracks and knots and it worked GREAT. Here are some splits and stuff I filled with it.

When I did the bottom edge, I propped up the body so I could goop it on and then sand it flat after it dried.

One thing most people like about it is you don't have to be perfect with the 50-50 mixing. I try to error on there being too much hardener if I am not sure of the mix so that it will dry. If you use too much of the other, it won't dry and you have to sand it off.
