I believe the plate is the same... though I certainly can be wrong.

They had the same Japanese LPB that you had at Best Buy the other day and I really wish I could have brought it home. I would definitely do the same mod.

YES!! That looks so much better! WHY didn't Fender think of that? I guess that would have made it more like a Duo-Sonic and they couldn't have marketed it as a Mustang.

That looks killer! Is it strung through the body though? That's probably what I wouldn't like about the toronado bridge. I wonder what this would look like with a mustang trem!

Oh wow. I didn't know it was string thru already. I'm definitely gonna get me a toronado bridge then too if I decide to buy it.

It's the bridge they used on the Squier Musicmaster I believe.

yes that is the squire musicmaster bridge.. As far as I can tell the plates are the same.

Its the perfect guitar for a chic. Its sexy and beautiful so find a hot rocker chic and introduce her to this guitar. I loved it but in all honesty it didnt fight back enough because it was small. But I'm still getting one.

I got a CAR one for $579. Not a fan of how the bridge looks, but the guitar plays great! The smaller size doesn't bother me at all.

Well I called the music store I go to and they have it for $749.00 Must be one of the expensive ones they have. It's in Lake placid blue.

It could be one of the newer models. The cheaper prices tend to be for the older Japanese models they want to move. I would personally love to pickup one of the Japanese ones, though the sunburst one looks choice.

I snagged mine off of E-bay. They are popping up every few days - you have to be quick.

The sunburst would be my first choice, but it's not worth $200 more to me.

I like the LPB models, though I prefer the more vintage shades of LPB to the current one. The CAR models are gorgeous with the mint guard, though I tend to acquire lots of red guitars and would love another color to round out my guitar color palette.

I would snag either one at the right price. I would also snag the loaded pickguard for a project guitar and they are sometimes available. I wish those pickups were available for sale. This is demo of guy who put those pickups into a Classic Player jag HH and they sounded awesome.

I think the Classic Player Jag HHs already have those pickups, albeit in open coil form (unless Fender are calling all sorts of humbuckers 'Enforcers' now). The J5 Teles even had them with full-sized WRHB covers (as RI WRHBs are just regular PAF-sized buckers padded out to fit the cover).

I know they are all called "Enforcers" but I don't think they are all the same. Pot values also contribute to the equation. I know I really liked the sound of the spliting on the Pawnshop Mustang, but not so much on the Classic Player Jaguar HH.

The guy in the video who swapped them said they sounded different and from the ones I have played I would agree.

I don't know what "Wide Range" means in terms of sound. The Mustang Enforcers Pickups are not as big as the Jaguar Enforcer pickups. But there is clearly some kind of difference.

they started making them in Mexico? I've a Japanese one... i'd think the quality of the Mexican ones wouldn't be as good???

He compares the Japanese and Mexico models side by side. Says the neck is a little chunkier and it has a skunk stripe and truss rod access on the Headstock.
