As others mentioned the BOSS PW-10 is a strong contender as it has Crybaby, VOX and Morley Bad Horsie settings (plus they are cheap on ebay) The Bad Horsie being my fav, plus it has other stuff to play with.
With regards to Snarling Dogs the wah part of things teand to be fine it's what the rest of the pedal is mixed with that tends to fail, the Mold Spore especially! But.. the Mold Spore has 3 wah settings, "white room" a bassy thick wah tone like old Cream/Clapton. "A hendrix" one, which i find is the only usable one. and the "shaft" tone, with has so much treble it will cut your head off. LEDs light tup the doggy's eyes and looks evil
Still looking for an Erogenous Moan wah made by them as it has the reverse feature.

Yup, Morley stuff is ace though. Do they make a model that you can engage the wah by a switch as well as the optical switch? That'd be ace as I love cocked wah tones but also hate having to kick a switch when I want a bit of wah for a phrase or two.

I'd like a Wah that adds the third note of the tonic scale, like a harmonizer of sorts, flattened third for them melancholy lead breaks would be ace. Yeah. Maybe an integrated tuner and a coffee maker as well, i'd like a filtered coffee whilst noodling in E minor.

Well it's all coming out now, I don't really like shortscales, or Fenders in general. I am all about the Jems and the emotionless fret wankery!
Though in reality, is my oldest pedal - at one point my set up was the Wah and a Zoom 707

I had two three cry baby's and currently own a vox. I'm still looking for something a little more vocal like. My ideal is the jerry Cantrell wah but I don't his livery on it. To be fair for the amount I'd actually use a wah, a cheap crybaby would do me. Mostly it's still direct to amp for me.

Me neither. The idea of a smaller wah is appealing I must say.

I'm not sure why those of us who don't get along with the Crybaby are such a small minority...everything about it feels 'wrong' and awkward to me. *shrugs* Every wah I've tried has an annoying honking colouration to the sound at the midpoint and, if it's a Crybaby, nothing happens until you're in somewhere in the middle of the pedal's travel where the effect's sweep happens all at once. My issue with them is that 'sweet spot' is hard to find when you're balancing on your other foot with a guitar hanging off one shoulder.

I'm after something less like a squawking vocal-type wah and more like a bass and/or treble sweep type of effect; an eq box that uses a foot-operated treadle and a 'wah' aren't the same thing really. Is there such thing as an eq box with an expression pedal?

One of Tim's (fredric Effects) Weasel Stomps/Harmonic Energizer clone may do what your're asking.

Au contraire: no Fleshlight.

The trouble I'm seeing with wahs in general is how many of them, even the high-end 'boutique' models - or ESPECIALLY the high-end boutique models - are really just refinements of the original Dunlop or Vox designs. Which is great if you want a 'classic' or old-school type of effect, but it's a bit of a bummer if you're not. A lot of the time these 'refinements' involve the inductors, other minor component values or tweaks to the enclosure. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference between them all unless you're looking for a particular take on the typical sound.

The only other main alternative is the optical Morley style, which seems to be more of a Marmite effect than the Vox/Dunlop inductor type. I believe the 'mini' wah has a switch next to the treadle, so it looks like the effect is turned on and off using that rather than activating a switch using the toe end of the treadle (a la Vox/Dunlop) or pressure on the treadle itself (full-size Morleys). It's unusual, but avoids having to push the treadle all the way down, but would also allow you to leave it on half-cocked if you wanted to. I've seen the Ibanez Weeping Demon mentioned as an unconventional effect that's nigh-on useless for 'traditional' wah sounds but it interesting in its own right.

The 'third way' really is going digital...which is why I'm a little interested in the the Boss PW-10. TBQH, I've shunned wahs for years because I thought of them as a 'lead guitarist effect' but always thought of myself as anything but a lead player. The problem is, sometimes you need a bit of real-time expression of tone control. I very rarely want to use one, but when I do I really miss it and feel frustrated with the standard offerings. The rest of the time, I'd get more use of a pedalboard's built-in coffee maker.

I really love the BBE way. Its really just a crybaby with all the hotrodded mods. True bypass, fasel inductor, an LED, and a sweep adjuster. And they dont cost a ton more than a cry baby.

Hope it's NOT SHIT, which seems to be impossible to have figured out beforehand as there are NO demos on Youtube at all. One review said it was very bassy and that replacing a chip fixed that and basically turned it into a Crybaby sound. Which is fine as I have a friend who builds pedals anyway so I'll just get him to do it. But I wanted to try out a wah concentrated on bassy frequencies first anyway just to try it out. It's also TRUE BYPASS WOW (DON'T CARE LOL)

So yeah, I now have WAH.
