Respect your opinion but disagree. I have a couple of 80s Fender Japan teles and a well worn 78 MIA Musicmaster - they are all stellar to play, and the MM probably sounds best of the three. AND I have a Twin, sorry!

New MIJ Fenders FTW and vintage American Fenders are very nice. But new Americans, just something I don't like about them. I think they are very over priced and prefer Japanese over them greatly. I would buy a nice G&L over an American Fender. At least there's more innovation and better value for the buck.
