I haven't done anything else since this photo.. aside from toss a couple strings on t keep the neck tense.

yes! tuners and strings & other things to that guitar are easy to find. but a pearl pickguard please? looks good now, but pearl white?

if i find one for the right price..

plus since its a `68 neck and a 74? body i'd prefer to find a vintage pearl (as they look much better) guard for it

I just got a 72 comp stang not that long ago for a really nice price and gigged with it on saturday, I am pleased.
I put pickup whizard pups in it, if any of you wondered how they sound, FABULOUS

when i got it it had weird pickups and no covers and the wrong knobs, i got it all the wat back to how it should be, anyhow, i love the shit out of it

It always looks interesting seeing the way the Fender logo fits on the lefty headstock.

I like when they just have the "Fender" part on the lefty's. The model squshed in there normally looks funky. You'd think with the money they have, they could have a special decal made for their leftys. I have made custom ones to fit left handed guitars. Isn't too hard, basically you flip it.

Yeah. I think I've only noticed the full regular decal on the red lefties. The yellow and blue ones all seem to have gotten the chopped competition decal. Though I'm sure I've seen a red lefty with the cream decal too.

I guess Fender didn't have a standard for that kind of stuff. Who knows.
