It's the only traditional-looking Tele pickup that sounds any good to me, really. All the rest are too muddy, or just really weak compared to the bridge pickup.

Has anyone here ever used Tonerider pickups? I found a video and I think they sound rather warm and jazzy.

The neck pickup on my 2008 Strat went low output within the warranty period; apparently it was a bad solder joint. This is really noticeable if you play into an amp or effect with a lower impedance input such as an HH amp or a Fuzz Face fuzz.
