I'm pretty sure it's full scale. Maybe he's looking for a shortscale guitar.Freddy V-C wrote:This may be a stupid question, but isn't the guitar in your avatar pretty much a Mustang body with a Jag trem? Obviously it's got the Bronco pickguard and three pickups, but what's the need for another?
Yeah. It's like an ideal setup that I want in shortscale. I mean I wouldn't mind a mustang if the trem is serviceable. Doesn't have to be quite as good as a jag trem, just usable. And Jags are too big and I don't really like them anyway.Punkacc9 wrote:I'm pretty sure it's full scale. Get a mustang. Just set it up nicely and lock the bridge from rocking. (Wrap the poles with electrical tape)George wrote:Yeah. It's like an ideal setup that I want in shortscale. You're lucky if you got a local music shop that sells fender and squier. None of the 4 here sell any. I gotta drive a fucking hour away to a guitar center.George wrote:Sweet. Ned to get to my music shop. I don't think they have the vintage white though
Congrats! I love the red one. White would be my second choice though. The blue is poop. Haha.George wrote:Okay so I went to my local and they had a blue (which looks like white to me) and a red.
I played the red which was "the better one". I really liked it aside from the shitty old strings that made it feel slow and dry to play. The vibrato system is really nice but they had the tail bar right the way back so only downward movement was possible and hard to use the thing while playing because the trem handle was almost perpendicular. It's way more overprounced than the jag trem but I'd be happy with it. Held tune well. It felt and sounded exactly like an mij. May change pickups though.
Anyway they're ordering a vintage white one in for me and I should have it by the weekend
Yeah. I really hate it. It's way too light and the brown tort makes it look worst.George wrote:Yeah weird colour that blue. Honestly it's nice and all but it's not blue I swear
