who is making the guard? and did you decide on a definite color?(for the guard) cuz im thinking matte black single ply would be about as good as it gets for that beast.

I was a bit iffy on this one when I first saw it, but as it's coming together I like it more and more. Can't wait to see it assembled.

I ordered the switches and other parts. I should have everything but the strap buttons and a new set of strings.

I worked on my wiring diagram. I added in a three way rotary switch (which will replace the tone pot) so I can have extra sound options. Without it, I wouldn't be able to turn off the pairs since turning them off puts them in series. Now I have Each pickup as a single option. All on parallel. All on series. Upper two alone. Lower two alone. I also have the high pass filter for any of those settings and a master volume. Since these are strat pickups and humbucker options, I decided on a 500k volume pot. Here it is. (Sloppy looking work, but it will help me connect the wires hopefully. :))

You took a cheap guitar and made it look the business. I love the switching too. Eagerly await the demo.

I got switches mounted and pots and knobs on. I still need the pickup mounting screws and springs as well as the input jack before I can go a lot further. I will do wiring later this week. So far it looks great! Cooterfinger got the switches in the perfect spot. Fits GREAT. (Went with black switches because white ones were way expensive...)

Under the hood. (Tone knob actually is the three way switch. Looks cool and will really do some tonal changes. :)
