CHeers guys and thanks to the lovely benecol for giving me the heads up to the sale a-happening elsewhere. I'll be transferring the cash later today and then the guy will send over night courier. Thursday or Friday seems likely. I'll need to shift a ton of gear and ephemera I've had clogging up Dave-towers forever to recoup the cash .
The great thing is though is that this guitar has great specs - there is ZERO project work or swaps to get tangled up in. The last thing I need is yet another guitar that needs serious work to get it playble especially as my Yamaha is going to need a repair and I'll be getting it refreeted and the binding fixed so it will be out of action for a while. ANyway mofos check out these muthfarkin specs and try and find one thing that is substandard (even a bomne nut!):
BODY (Top) Hard Maple (Back) Mahongany w/ White & Black Laminating Binding
NECK Mahogany
FINGERBORAD Ebony, 22frets w/ White Binding
RADIUS 305R
SCALE 628mm
NUT Bone (43mm)
INLAY Pearloid Block
JOINT Set-neck
TUNER GOTOH SG301-04
BRIDGE Old Type Tune-Matic & GOTOH GE101Z
PICKUPS (Neck) Seymour Duncan SP90-1n
(Bridge) Seymour Duncan SP90-1b
PARTS COLOR Gold
CONTROLS Neck Volume&Tone, Bridge Volume&Tone, Toggle PU Selector
I see a nice set of Optimax gold strings in this guitars future...
Further: I cannot put down the Jim Deacon. the fat neck and fat frets are so IMMENSELY playable to me. I suspect the Edwards won't be as fat (apparently a transitional 59/60 type profile) so it may be that I end up taking the deacon off my mates hands, just BECAUSE. In the future i definitely want a very well made Lemon-drop LP with that neck profile.

Might be sensible to leave your credit card at home.

Most certainly! You can't touch it or look at it though...it's still got the old tagger on it. [/tapquote]
